| We are excited to make the Viking Ship accessible to as many students as possible! There is so much one can learn about life, group dynamics, and ones self from being on a ship. Our goal is to serve over 1000 students per year aboard the ship.
The ship is also an exciting and fun way to draw students into a wide variety of subjects including history, culture, literature, mythology, physics, math, biology, marine science, ecology, maritime history, navigation, seamanship, sailing, rowing, carpentry, survival techniques, safety, leadership, food preparation, engine mechanics, plumbing, electrical work, and more. Please contact us. We work with you to create a custom program to meet your needs. We help create subject and age specific programs to meet your educational goals. Recipe for success: add 1 part excitement, 1 part adventure, 1 part experiential learning, 1 part fun, 1 part Viking lore and a pinch of sea salt. Mix together. Enjoy! |
